 NAME: Darveon Jamal Emerson. YEAR: Freshman. BACKGROUND: An only child, Darveon was born and raised in a small town just outside of Ontario, Canada to Jamal & Nichole Emerson. From around the time that he could walk on his own two feet, Darveon spent the majority of his free time on the ice playing left wing forward for the local youth hockey league, then eventually moving on to play throughout his school career until he was scouted to play for college, majoring in Sports Medicine. PERSONALITY: Considered by most to be a straight-edge type. Growing up with strict parents he put all of his focus on his studies and sports, not leaving much time for partying or getting into any real trouble -- lest he end up on the receiving end of some time of punishment from his father that was usually in the form of not being able to participate in whatever game or tournament that was coming up. Otherwise, he's an outgoing and sociable guy, not particularly one of the most popular kids when he was in school, but definitely well known enough by most of the students that attended the small high school in his town. Darveon is quick to make friends, usually taking the initiative and striking up conversation with just about anyone. STYLE: No set "style", wears whatever he wants, when he wants -- sometimes hipster, sometimes hip-hop, sometimes preppy, and often a mixture of all three. Alternates his hair from a shaved, high-top to short dreads, depending on how he feels during that time of year, and is currently dreading them. [ OOC ] BACKTAGGING: Yes. FOURTHWALLING: If your name is Wade Wilson, then go ahead. Otherwise, no thank you. PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes. Growing up in a constant team environment, he's no stranger to physical affection -- often in the form of bro-hugs, butt smacking and other forms of sports related celebratory affection.
